Question : I would like to know exactly what areas are improved by a cheek lift. The areas I am concerned about are the nasolabial folds, sagging cheeks, the beginning of jowls and marionette lines. Does the cheek lift also improve skin texture?
Answer : A cheek lift is a limited lift procedure. It can give some minimal improvement in these areas. If the areas of concern in your case are very large, you may want to consider having a full facial rejuvenation procedure. Any of the lifts really do not affect the skin texture. To affect the skin texture, you need some type of procedure specifically targeted to the skin such as a laser or pulse energy or chemical peel. The other thing you may want to consider is volume, so you may need some fillers to improve volume.
