Question : My nostrils are asymmetrical and the septum goes a bit to the right. Despite this my nose appears straight. I would like to have a nose job to make the nostrils even. Can I have this done without any incisions?
Answer : The correction of the asymmetry of the nostrils will require an incision. Depending on what needs to be done, the incision may be done outside of the nostril area itself or it may be done inside of the nose to straighten the septum and this may also make the nose appear more symmetrical. It is impossible to make changes in the nose without any incisions. Occasionally, sometimes a defect can be improved with injectable therapy, but usually an incision is required and the incision inside of the nose cannot be seen and works quite well. However, if an incision actually has to be made in the nostril, there will be a scar. The goal is to make the scars as nice as possible.
