Question: How does Juvederm compare to Restylane for lip augmentation?
Answer: Restylane is a non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA). It is in a gel and this is injected into the dermis to give very good results for filling out lines and filling other areas. Juvederm is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid and this is also a gel and is injected. These products have a different performance. Some people like Juvederm, some will like Restylane and surgeons have had good success with both. And both can be used within very similar areas with good results.
