Question : I had a neck lift last year and I feel that now I have sagging skin in my cheek and face. Is it common for this to happen and how should it be addressed?
Answer : It is very important to analyze the patient’s face and then make sure that the patient is presented with all their options. They may have some aging in the mid-face area. This can best be addressed with a midface lift or facelift. This can be also done at the time of the neck lift. Now that you’ve had one procedure, you may need to follow up with the other areas which are sagging. This can be done at later time depending on the appearance or you may have the procedure at this time. Also, sometimes if there is some slight sagging and irregularities, injectables may provide a very good option prior to undergoing facelift.
