Question : I had a nose job three years ago. Everyone says my nose looks good but I still feel like it seems a little too large. Can this be fixed with a revision rhinoplasty procedure?
Answer : Revision rhinoplasty can correct many things. However, if everyone states that your nose looks good, I think that your first approach should be to return to the original surgeon and get his or her opinion as to what needs to be done. Your nose may have a very good result and there may be no need for more surgery. I like to tell my patients that more surgery really is a law of diminishing returns. Each successful rhinoplasty procedure has less and less beneficial effect. It may cause serious harm. You may be in a situation where you have a very good result and any further surgery will just make things worse and not give you the benefit that you require.
