Question: I have Dumbo like ears and would like to have them fixed. How is this done and will the scars be very noticeable?
Answer: Correcting large sized ears can be done quite well with otoplasty. Quite often the patient thinks that their ears may be too large but it may be just that the ears are protruding from their head in a way that makes them look more noticeable. Quite often techniques to bring the ears closer to the side of the head work well. Incisions are minimal and placed posteriorly where they are hidden and unseen. The scars in general are well hidden with this procedure.
