Question : I have what I think is a very crooked nasal tip since my nose job last year. Can this be fixed with revision rhinoplasty, and how would improvement will be achieved?
Answer : A crooked tip can be fixed with revision rhinoplasty. The approach depends on what the problem is. If the problem with the nose is due to a twist in the cartilage, the cartilage will need to be straightened. To reduce some thickening of the scar tissue causing asymmetry, the thickened scar tissue needs to be removed. It can also be due to inadequate support and drooping of the nose, and in that case, grafts will be placed to improve the nose.
