Question : I’m Asian and I had rhinoplasty seven years ago. I had an implant to raise the height of my nose. I feel it’s too high and also that what was used, I think silicone, moves around. Can this be fixed with revision rhinoplasty?
Answer : Implants can be problematic. They can cause pain and they can shift. They can cause infection and swelling. Occasionally, it can actually poke through the skin and come out. Revision rhinoplasty may be able to help improve the appearance of your nose and if you’re not happy with the implant this can also be removed.
