Question : I’m of Middle Eastern decent and my main concern is my nose on profile. How can this be fixed?
Answer : Rhinoplasty surgery can improve the profile by changing the dorsum of the nose. Many people who have a hump deformity require removal of tissue from the hump. It’s also important that the surgeon keep a strong nasal dorsum and not overresect. The surgeon must make an accurate diagnosis for his patient. If it appears that there’s a hump, it really means that there’s actually deficient tissue above which needs to be corrected.
