Question : I’ve been reading through some forums regarding Juvederm for lip augmentation. Many people have mentioned the amounts it took for them, like a syringe or two, etc. How much do you generally use for someone seeking just a little augmentation and wanting to keep it very natural?
Answer : It’s very important that the surgeon be experienced in lip augmentation. He must estimate the volume of filler which is necessary to create the change that the patient desires. I usually say that one to two syringes per lip will work quite well but this will vary depending on exactly what type of change is required. It is also important to look at the lip three-dimensionally to make sure that the augmentation is in all the directions that you desire to create the volume.
