Question : I’ve recently heard about many new non-invasive procedures for tightening the skin, like ultherapy. I’ve got a horrible turkey neck and was wondering when procedures like this would be appropriate or when you really need a necklift.
Answer : There are many different procedures to rejuvenate the skin. There are many skin creams which have been effective and these are the most superficial. The next level is the deeper tissues. There are many different procedures on the market which may send energy or light to deeper tissues of the skin and the underlying soft tissues with the hope of having remodeling or changes which may result in a tighter skin. More extensive problems may require a traditional neck lift where surgical incisions are placed to improve the skin and the neck and this involves tissues in the neck.
