Question: Is there a possibility that I could be allergic to the injectable filler that I used in my lips? After it is injected my lips are incredibly swollen.
Answer: In general, most of the newer injectable fillers are created so that the risk of allergic reaction is extremely small. I heard it is always possible that a patient could have a reaction to some components of the filler. After injection, some patient’s lips will be swollen or there may be some bruising. If you’re not having a good result, there are many options of fillers that are available. A switch to see whether or not this problem improves might be a good idea.
