Question : My rhinoplasty was 1.5 years ago. One of the things that I had changed was that I wanted my nasal bridge narrowed. I still feel like it’s too wide and I’ve waited to make sure that swelling’s not to blame. Is it safe to undergo a revision rhinoplasty now?
Answer : Definitely after one year, it’s a good time to consider revision rhinoplasty. However, it is very important to make sure that the nose can be narrowed to the degree that you desire. The nasal bridge may have been narrowed maximally. There are, however, some modern techniques which can be used to create an appearance of a more narrow bridge. The most important thing is to make sure that the nose is in proportion to the rest of the face.
