Question: The sizes of my ears are different. What type of surgery will fix this?
Answer: There are slight asymmetries of the body and the ears are no different. If the difference in size is very minimal, this can be left in place. Quite often, it’s not the size that is drawing attention to the ears but the fact that they are sticking out from the head and they are very prominent. Therefore, procedures to bring the ears back into better positioning may improve this problem. This type of procedure is called otoplasty.
