Question : The very tip of my nose droops down. I am 64 years old and very conscious of my appearance. I’ve never noticed this before. Does this sort of thing happen with aging? I want to have it lifted. Does this require a rhinoplasty?
Answer : I see many patients in my office with very similar concerns. As we do age, gravity has an effect on our tissues. Also, skin laxity changes and quite often tissues may sag and droop. Rhinoplasty is a very good procedure to rejuvenate the nose and reposition the tissues into a more youthful position.
