Question : I’m interested in rejuvenating my neck, especially the extra skin there. Recently, I’ve been reading about the short scar neck lift and I’d like to know how this is different from a regular neck lift and if it can provide the same results.
Answer : The short scar neck lift refers to a technique where the neck is lifted; however, the scar is smaller than the standard submental scar and incisions can be placed in different locations to minimize the scarring. This may also refer to endoscopic neck lifts which have even smaller incisions. If incisions are well placed by an experienced surgeon, the result should be very good.
